Not to be confused with the 1/4 pound Giant Burger of the 60s-80s...which was one of the greatest Oakland mini-chain burger drive-ins. That being said, this is a damn fine burger ! In the midday heat of one of the hottest days on record in Oaktown (93 degrees), I drove up to this surprisingly busy burger stand and ordered the obligatory cheese burger, fries, and a coke. After a quick 10 minute wait, my order was ready and I sat in the shade of their patio. Cheese burger was warm and juicy...and the lettuce/tomato/onion were still nice and crisp. The crinkle fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Washed the whole thing down with an ice cold Coke (still 93 degrees), but my stomach was satisfied. Thanks to the owners for bringing back an old favorite and contributing to the resurgence of the Dimond District!

Great burgers, I love that they a combo meal, most of them don't. They are friendly as long as you are polite. You can only eat outside or take it home.

My dad used to bring me here as a kid, we'd drive up from San Jose on Friday nights just so he could get his favorite burger fast forward 40yrs I bring my kids here when I get the chance. Burgers are always tasty and seasoned well milkshakes are thick and perfect

===== Good, clean, honest burger ===== Ok, In-N-Out is just always going to be king of the hill for me. But this burger goes in a different direction. No special sauce, no secret menu, no real theme even. But it's a solid burger. Produce tasted super fresh (the test is always eating the wayward produce that falls out without the patty and bun - you'll find out really quickly if it's not fresh!), clean taste with the quality produce and layer of mayo. It's deceptively filing. I remember seeing it at the bottom of the bag and being a tad disappointed it wasn't absolutely huge. But I was definitely full as I got to the end of it. Service was nice and friendly. It's a tad pricey (again, see In-N-Out) but it's still cheaper than Five Guys and I'd argue far superior to Five Guys. Would come back and try the rest of what they offer (def fries and shakes - gotta try more than one shake in case the first one was an off one )

Good burger but one helluva wait. Plan on a 30 minute wait time. Got our order and waited over 20 minutes for a fish sandwich. Good but definitely frozen. Tartar sauce was minimal. Fries are good but need salt. Other than that, pretty good.

I was walking by and was craving a burger! And this was a great place for a classic style double cheese burger. Service was great, very friendly. Lots of seating.
